Multimedia Designer

Kimberly Flores

BA

As a Multimedia Designer at HLM, Kim both designs clear digital materials and produces engaging video content — all to make complex health information more easily understandable.

Kim believes that by breaking down barriers to health equity, we can empower individuals to take an active role in their health, and give them the resources they need to do it. At HLM Kim does just that — break down barriers by building up clear and creative media. She’s brings health content to life through design, video animation, and audio engineering.

As the daughter of immigrants, she has witnessed firsthand the impact that low health literacy can have on people and their overall health. She is delighted to have the opportunity to contribute to efforts to improve health literacy and create positive change through media content creation.

In her early career, Kim cultivated her love for the arts through curatorial internships at art museums. These internships showed her the power of visual storytelling - another skill she brings to the team. Most recently, Kim spent time in executive administration, ensuring clear and effective communication within organizations. Now she takes clear and effective communication to the public.

Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary humanities with an emphasis in media arts.
